furniture through adding retailed items in their regionally-acclaimed restaurant. They did not realize that the seeds for a new business venture, Green Light, LLC, had been planted.
One day, while driving a load of supplies through a nearby town, Wayne asked for a sign that Green Light was really the business they should be starting. When he looked up, he saw five green traffic lights through the busiest part of town. As he continued driving, every traffic light turned green until he was out of town. This was an extremely unusual occurrance in this particular town, and was the first and only time it had happened to him. Wayne took that as the answer he was looking for, and Green Light, LLC was born. They immediately began looking for environmentally-friendly products that benefited God's green earth, while providing value to the lives of their customers.
Corina's family, it turns out, manufactures poly lumber furniture in Ohio, and the green nature of the product was a natural fit to the view that the earth's resources should be cared for, reused, and replenished in a way that provides value to the Creation and to customers' lives.
They asked their friends Doug and Amy Overmyer, who shared their belief that people should be good stewards to the planet, to join them in their venture, and a partnership was forged. Doug's decade of project management and marketing skills coupled with Wayne's entrepreneurial abilities and drive to develop The Polywood Collection, their first joint venture together. Along with Corina and Amy's support and work, they are currently venturing on subsequent businesses.
